My Sleeping Diva

You lie there on the pillow

Eyes closed

Elbow extended

Palm propped upward against your face

Faint smile on your lips

As if you are posing while you dream

I will call you my sleeping diva.

    I sleep on my back, with my hands crossed over my heart -- yes, exactly like a sleeping vampire or an open casket.
